Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic films for designated body areas.

Required: graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program; ARRT (RT) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR); BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year MRI experience and other life support credentials.

Work hours include Sat 7:30a-4p and Mon/Tue 7:30a-8p; weekends required; on-call not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or Accredited MRI program.
• Registered ARRT (RT) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or

Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or

ARMRIT (MR)

Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

One (1) year of experience in MRI.

Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

Sat 7:30a-4p; Mon and Tues 7:30a-8p
