Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an MRI technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce diagnostic tomographic images for neonate to geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Required: graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI program; RT with 1 year experience or ARMRIT/ARRT MR registry; BLS certification. Preferred: ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR registration and MRI training/experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED:

Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)

One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.

Work Hours:

8a-4:30p
