Location: US: WI: WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 0.6125 (24.5 hrs)

Shift: Shift 4

Shift Details: Wednesday – Sunday; Wed (1300-2300), Thurs (1530-2300), Fri (1300-2300), Sat (0630-1830), Sun (0630-1830)

This would be alternating weeks (5 days on/9 days off).

This position is eligible for a $5K Sign-On Bonus!

Job Summary:

Performs MRI studies under the supervision of a radiologist and senior MRI Technologist. Interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients, and visitors. Acts as a resource for MRI technical issues, demonstrating competence according to guidelines and protocols. Operates MRI equipment, prepares the scan room, maintains images and archives patient data. Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

1 to 3 years of experience preferred.

Education:

Graduate of an JCERT-approved radiologic or MRI program is required. A 2- or 4-year degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business, or related field is preferred.

Training:

Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy course is required.

Skills:

Competence in IV insertion and contrast injection; ability to learn new procedures.

Licensure:

ARRT registration required; advanced ARRT-MR certification within 18 months of hire. BCLS certification within 90 days. WI radiologic license if performing ionizing radiation imaging; no license needed for MRI/Ultrasound only.
