Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.
This job is ON - SITE.
FTE: 0.500000 (approx 20 hours a week)
Shift: Shift 4 (mix of 1st and 2nd shift)
Performs all duties related to the production of hot and cold food items for hospital patients, staff, and visitors, including special functions and baking. Monitors the quality of items produced, working closely with hot and cold food production to ensure high standards. Follows standardized recipes and production sheets, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. Maintains quality in cooking methods, procedures, and dietary restrictions, focusing on presentation and portion control.
Minimum of 1 year of food service cooking experience or a combination of food service experience with a Culinary Degree. Line cook experience with hot food preparation is preferred.
Culinary Arts degree preferred.
Ability to read and write to understand equipment instructions, IFUs, and complete documentation. Basic arithmetic skills for counting and sheet completion. Basic computer skills, problem-solving, and good communication skills are required.
ServSafe certification is preferred.
