Schedule: This role will work at both Froedtert Menomonee Falls and Froedtert West Bend. May include hospital inpatient, partial hospital program, or intensive outpatient program coverage. Shift varies with possible first and second shifts (including 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, weekends- 7am-5pm or 12:30pm-10:30pm). No 3rd shift hours.

Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Liaison (BHL) Psychotherapist provides psychiatric assessment/evaluation for patients in medical settings and/or hospital outpatient programs including, but not limited to, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Based on the care setting, BHL psychotherapist develops, supports, and executes the treatment plan using psychosocial and therapeutic interventions individually and/or in a group, care coordination, and other services as dictated by the treatment plan to address psychiatric disorders and psychosocial issues. The BHL psychotherapist responds to consults by making appropriate clinical recommendations and providing behavioral health consult services as needed. Completes all documentation following clinic protocol and state requirements. Participates in clinical collaboration and supervision with psychiatrists and supervisors as required by law. Supports other behavioral health program needs and duties as assigned. May need to travel between sites.
Experience: 3,000 hours of postgraduate clinical supervision, care coordination for behavioral health patients.
Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, educational psychology, or allied health from an accredited institution. A master's in clinical mental or behavioral health with field placement/practicum is preferred.
Training: Clinical training in psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, and assessment is required. Training in substance use disorder treatment and modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT is preferred.
Licensure: Current Wisconsin licensure as LCSW or LPC is required. Other disciplines considered with DSPS pre-approval.
