Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures
Produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers to support diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention
Exercise independent judgment and clinical skills to execute safe, precise procedures
Assess and monitor patients attentively
Gain patient, family, and healthcare-provider confidence and cooperation
Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
Deliver optimal patient care while protecting privacy and safety
Perform specific procedures as assigned
Help orient other staff to the department
Support multiple sites as a float pool technologist
Travel to Auburn, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Carmichael, and Yuba City
Requirements
- Graduation from a Radiologic Technologist Program prior to start date OR graduation from a Magnetic Resonance Program prior to start date
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist prior to start date OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist prior to start date OR ARRT (MRI) - Radiography certification prior to start date
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies
- Ability to perform routine MRI examinations
- Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, and PACS
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems
- Ability to ensure patient PHI privacy
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
- Ability to travel within and around the Greater Sacramento Area
