Qualifications

  • Graduation from a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist Program prior to start date.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist from the state where work is being performed prior to start date.
  • BLS Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
  • RH F Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic CT principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Experience responding to traumas and hospital emergencies.
  • Ability to perform routine CT examinations.
  • Anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology knowledge.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within SOPs and scientific methods.
  • Knowledge of PHI privacy and collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures
  • Produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers to support diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention
  • Exercise sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe, precise procedures
  • Assess and monitor patients
  • Gain patient, family, and healthcare-provider confidence and cooperation
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
  • Deliver optimal patient care while ensuring privacy and safety
  • Perform specific procedures as assigned
  • Help orient other staff to the department
  • Float among multiple sites in the Greater Sacramento Area
  • Travel to Auburn, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Carmichael, and Yuba City as required
Requirements
