Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the St. Mary's Richmond team on a PRN basis.

The MRI Tech will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging according to established protocols, under the radiologist's direction, and contribute to training new staff and supervising students. This role requires ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT certification, 1 year of hospital MRI experience, BLS, and state licensure where required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or ARRT-accredited program preferred.
• MRI Registry (ARRT) or ARMRIT required.
• State licensure preferred.
• BLS from AHA required at hire for some locations.
• 1 year MRI department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize MRI system per protocol.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new staff.
• Monitor and maintain quality control for MRI department.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other staff.
• Perform IV injections and administer contrast as needed.
