Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Chelsea outpatient imaging department is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI studies under general supervision. You will prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters, acquire and process images, and support quality assurance in a fast-paced team.

The role involves rotating to MRI scanners across the department, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with radiologists, nurses and other staff.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging required.
• Associate’s preferred.
• MRI Registered Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT within 1 year.
• BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform MRI studies using an MRI system.
• Prepare patients, position, set imaging parameters, acquire images.
• Perform quality assurance scans and ensure safety and protocol adherence.
• Rotate to MRI scanners across the department as needed.

Associate’s degree (preferred)
