Job summary

Associates In Medical Imaging, LLC is hiring a MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations and deliver patient care, ensuring efficient operation of the MRI unit and continuity of care.

Qualified candidates have an accredited radiological health program graduate background, ARRT registered status, and at least three years of MRI experience. Strong knowledge of MRI safety and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI technology, equipment operation, and magnet safety.
• Experience prescribing and performing clinical MRI procedures.
• Experience filming & electronically transmitting MRI data.
• Knowledge of MRI terminology and the ability to follow interpreting physicians directions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner for data acquisition and image reconstruction.
• Prepare patients and educate them about procedures.
• Screen patients for contraindications to magnetic field.
• Perform quality control to ensure optimal image quality.
• Prepare images for transmission and interpretation by radiologist.
• Complete site-specific patient consents and insurance demographics.
