Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, ensure safety screenings, and coordinate patient care within regulatory standards. You will handle patient data entry, IV access, contrast injections, and i-STAT testing while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires ARRT MRI and Radiologic Technology registrations, current CPR, and willingness to work at multiple locations as needed. Excellent customer service and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry in Radiologic Technology required.
• MR Registry exam completed or within two-year grace period post-hire.
• State licensure on Radiation Protection required.
• CPR certification and cross sectional anatomy training noted.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and adhere to departmental protocols.
• Safety screenings and patient care coordination in MRI suite.
• Enter patient study information into clinical care systems accurately.
• Verify insurance pre-authorization before scanning.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and use two identifiers.
• Assist with IV access, contrast media injection, and i-STAT testing.
• Ensure compliance with ACR, Joint Commission, and local regulations.
