Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care. You will operate advanced MRI equipment, prepare patients, administer contrast as needed, and document findings.

Responsibilities include safety screenings, implant compatibility checks, image review, collaboration with radiologists, and participation in workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of MRI experience.
• ARRT certification in MRI and Montana Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of MRI principles, safety, contrast administration, and implant screening.
• Proficiency with EMR, PACS, and computer systems.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and multitasking skills.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and organized.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced MRI equipment following established protocols.
• Perform safety screenings, verify patient details, and assess implant compatibility.
• Prepare, educate, and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Optimize scan quality, review images, and ensure proper documentation.
• Follow safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support workflow, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with patient scheduling and staff training.
