Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform all technical aspects of MRI and patient care on a 40-hour Day shift. Responsibilities include accurate imaging, QA, and collaboration with radiologists in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has two years MRI experience, ARRT MR registration, and BLS certification, with a willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Two years MRI experience.
• MRI registration and GE experience preferred.
• Graduate of accredited MRI program and/or RT(MR) registration.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all technical and mechanical aspects of MRI including positioning and factors.
• Assess anatomy and pathology; tailor exam scope as indicated.
• Review exams with Radiologist and contribute technical knowledge.
• Respond to emergencies; communicate with patients and staff.
• Perform venipuncture and Point of Care Testing; QA on equipment.
