Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri, seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and ensure safety. You will interview patients, review histories, and explain procedures to achieve successful exams.

Responsibilities include IV contrast administration, evaluating images for diagnostic quality, and collaborating with the team to maintain patient care standards. ARRT accreditation is required with MR certification due within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner within safety guidelines.
• Interview and screen patients and document history.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients for exam success.
• Administer intravenous contrast and evaluate image quality.
