Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners in a high-quality clinical setting with strict adherence to MRI safety standards. You will interview patients, explain procedures, administer contrast, and ensure image quality for accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• ARRT accredited program in Radiologic Technology or ARRT MR primary pathway with MR certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Radiology with ARRT MR certification.
• 1 year MRI experience or Graduate of an approved MRI training program and Registry Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner(s) within all guidelines of MRI safety.
• Interview and screen patients for exam appropriateness and document histories.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients and families to ensure exam success.
• Administer contrast media intravenously and evaluate images for quality and diagnostic status.
