Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams with emphasis on safety and patient care. The role requires knowledge of MRI procedures, contrast administration, and accurate documentation in EMR systems.

On-call duties may include nights, weekends, and holidays across rural health network facilities. Ideal candidates will have AMA/JRCERT training and ARRT/ARMRIT certification with BLS current, and are expected to maintain high-quality imaging and patient relations

Qualifications

• Formal Radiologic Technology training from AMA/JRCERT accredited program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required at hire.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams with professional judgment and safety.
• Obtain patient history and indicate for MRI study.
• Administer contrast material as required and document procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure patient comfort during the exam.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.
