Job summary

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA/JRCERT approved school.
  • MRI training or experience preferred.
  • ARRT certification or ARMRIT certification required at time of hire.
  • MRI certification within two years post-hire preferred.
  • ND licensure if working in North Dakota.
  • Iowa permit to practice required to work in Iowa.
  • BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic MRI exams with professional judgment and patient care.
  • Position patients and ensure comfort; maintain MRI safety standards.
  • Operate MRI equipment and document procedures accurately.
  • Obtain patient history and clinical indication for MRI studies; schedule and bill via EMR.
  • May perform related radiology tasks such as EKG and DEXA as needed.
