Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure quality control within the MRI area. You will be responsible for accurate imaging, patient safety, and efficient workflow in a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months) and CPR certification, with a focus on pediatric through geriatric patient care and collaboration with STRIC teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in an out-patient MRI role is desirable.
• Must be able to perform MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area.
• Licensure: ARRT MR or ARMRIT within 6 months; CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures with attention to positioning and protocol requirements.
• Operate RIS for scheduling exams, patient tracking, and exam completion.
• Manage MRI-related equipment and safety procedures across the imaging suite.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and patient-centered care across pediatric to geriatric patients.
