Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers seeks an MRI Technologist - OIC to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure MRI quality control across patient ages. You will manage RIS scheduling and patient tracking while operating MRI equipment and safety devices.

The role requires knowledge of MRI, positioning, and procedural prep, with certifications in MR imaging within 6 months of hire. Healthcare team environment with emphasis on patient care.

Qualifications

• Out-patient MRI experience is desirable.
• Certifications in MR imaging are required or in progress.
• CPR certification must be current or obtained during orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure quality control.
• Handle RIS scheduling, patient tracking, and film tracking.
• Operate MRI equipment and related devices with safety.
• Provide care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate decision-making and appropriate action when needed.
