Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers in Texas is seeking an enthusiastic MRI Tech PRN to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area. The role involves operating MRI equipment, patient preparation, and proper use of the RIS system for scheduling and tracking exams.

Ideal candidates are graduates of a Radiology School with ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, CPR, and experience in pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology School.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current CPR certification (or during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area.
• Operate RIS for scheduling exams, patient tracking and film tracking.
• Manage other MRI-related equipment and monitoring devices.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to assess situations and choose appropriate actions.
• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
