Qualifications include an Associate degree or diploma, ARRT certification, Montana licensure, and BLS. Additional modality certification within 18 months is encouraged; ongoing education is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure are required.
• BLS certification is required; additional modality certification within 18 months.
• Ongoing continuing education is expected.

Responsibilities

• Access and update patient medical records in the EMR system.
• Input physician orders accurately to patient records.
• Explain imaging procedures and radiation safety to patients.
• Position patients and use immobilization devices as needed.
• Administer contrast media per radiologist and pharmacy guidelines.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety.
• Adhere to radiation protection and infection control policies.
• Participate in quality assurance and education activities.
• Float to other departments as needed.
• May be on-call during scheduled shifts.
