Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana seeks an Imaging Technologist to perform imaging studies under Radiologist supervision. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Knowledge of ARRT standards and HIPAA privacy is essential.

An associate degree or technical diploma is required, along with Montana licensure or eligibility and ARRT certification. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT (R) certification and Montana licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Current BLS certification by American Heart Association.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic quality images under Radiologist direction.
• Educate, interview, screen, and explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Position patients on imaging tables using immobilization devices as needed.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse events.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards per policy.
