Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under the direction of a Radiologist.

You will update patient medical records, educate patients on imaging procedures, and participate in QA and safety activities. The position is full-time at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana, with potential departmental float and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma or 6 months related experience (Non CertifiedRequired).
• Current ARRT certification and Montana licensure (CertifiedRequired).
• BLS certification and additional certifications within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images under Radiologist instruction.
• Review and update patient records in the EMR with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures and safety to reduce anxiety.
• Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients during procedures.
• Participate in QA activities and safety programs to ensure quality of care.

Education

Associate's degree or diploma; ARRT Certification; Montana Licensure; BLS; Additional certification within 18 months
