Intermountain Health in Butte (St James Hospital) is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under the direction of a Radiologist.

The role requires ARRT certification, Montana licensure, an associate degree, and BLS, with responsibilities including patient care, safety, contrast administration, and QA activities; work is 36 hours weekly with on-call possible.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree (AA) or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current Montana State Licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Aufgaben

• Access, manage and update patient medical records through Hospital EMR Information Systems.
• Input physician orders into patient records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per privacy/HIPAA guidelines.
• Educate, interview, screen and explain imaging and safety procedures to patients.
• Position patient on imaging table and use immobilization devices for safety and optimal views.
• Administer contrast media per Radiologist/Pharmacy guidelines.
• Monitor patient during procedures.
• Follow radiation protection and safety procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and quality reviews.
• Manage supply ordering within par and budget levels.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain competency.
• Complete position-specific competencies annually.
• Provide input in evaluating imaging students.
