Medical University of South Carolina seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams on patients of all ages using 3T, mobile, and upright scanners. You will work in a patient-centered, collaborative environment with protocol support and MRI safety practices.
This full-time days position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance, plus weekend day differential and additional pay opportunities.
Job Description Summary $10,000 sign-on bonus + up to $5,000 relocation assistance available Full Time - Days (Sat-Mon, 7:00AM - 7:30PM). As an MRI Technologist at MUSC, you will be at the forefront of medical imaging, utilizing advanced MRI technology including 3T, mobile, and upright MRI scanners. At MUSC our MRI technologists have access to dedicated protocol support and system MRSO support every day. Working in a collaborative and patient centric environment, they play a critical role in the delivery of exceptional healthcare outcomes.

Perform high-quality MRI examinations on patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation. Utilize all available MRI resources, protocols, and technology to ensure accurate and timely imaging services. Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures to promote patient comfort and cooperation. Adhere to established safety standards, infection control practices, and MRI-specific protocols. Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to patient needs and concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care. Ensure proper care, maintenance, and quality control of MRI equipment and work areas. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental operations, and organizational policies and procedures.
