Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations using modern CT systems, including photon counting CT. You will support patient care across age groups and collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Benefits include a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $5,000 for eligible candidates, with weekend days 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
• Certification: ARRT registration required, CT registration must be obtained within 1 year.

Job Description Summary $10,000 sign-on bonus + up to $5,000 relocation assistance available Full Time – Weekend Days (Fri-Sun, 7:00AM – 7:30PM) CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Responsibilities

Utilize all CT imaging resources to perform high-quality CT examinations Provide CT imaging services for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation Maintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring patient safety during examinations Operate CT equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment

Required License, Certification and Registration

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
• Required Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required. ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
