Job summary

York Hospital in York, ME seeks an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract on day shift. You will perform MRI exams, follow safety protocols, and ensure patient comfort and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include screening for contraindications, educating patients, coordinating with radiologists and care teams, and maintaining equipment. ARRT licensure and BLS are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program.
• Experience in medical imaging exams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures using established protocols and safety requirements.
• Screen patients for contraindications and explain procedures with courtesy.
• Monitor patients during procedures and maintain patient and staff safety.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and assist with inventory.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other departments as needed.
