Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in York, Maine. The MRI Technologist will perform MRI procedures, screen and educate patients, and ensure safety for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and coordinating with physicians and team members. This is a 13-week travel contract with a 36-hour workweek and a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology is required or preferred.
• Experience in medical imaging exams is preferred.
• ARRT certification required or ARRT eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures by using and building protocols and screening patients for contraindications.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
• Educate patients on procedures and ensure patient and staff safety.
