Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a licensed MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in York, ME. The role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with a supportive team and a focus on patient safety and quality imaging.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of MRI experience, state licensure, BLS, and strong procedural knowledge. You’ll work under Radiology leadership, ensuring accurate scans and compassionate patient care on the go.

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous MRI experience with MRI Technologist II duties.
• Licensed in the required state and BLS certification.
• Proficiency in MRI protocols and complex procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocol and safety guidelines for patient care.
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns with tact.
• Train new hires and students in MRI procedures.
• Ensure safety for patients and staff around the magnet.
