American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment in York, Maine. The role requires ARRT registration and 2+ years of MRI experience.

The assignment features 36 hours per week (3x12) with a 12-hour shift format, Epic EMR usage, and potential cross-training in CT or X-ray. Local Maine candidates are considered; travel compensation and a tax-free stipend are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and 2+ years MRI experience required.
• Associate degree or MRI certificate program completed.
• BLS within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and build MRI protocols.
• Screen patients for contraindications and follow safety protocols.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and address concerns professionally.
• Maintain patient and staff safety including magnet safety and metal object removal.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure a clean, safe environment.
