Job summary

OrthoNY is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient care. The role offers work-life balance, ongoing education, and modern imaging facilities. You will operate MRI equipment, work with clinicians, and support a seamless patient experience across locations.

Hours are Friday through Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with opportunities for professional development and growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• NYS licensure and ARRT certification.
• MRI certification within 1 year of hire or transfer date or willing to complete.
• Maintain ARRT certification through continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient history with the procedure and ensure documentation for licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patient for the procedure with instruction and education.
• Operate the MRI system and related equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and ethics in all patient and team interactions.
• Recognize conditions needed for successful completion of the procedure.
• Provide exceptional patient care with safety, comfort, and clear communication.
