Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners seeks an MRI Technologist to prepare and position patients, screen for contraindications, and operate MRI sequences. The role requires ARRT registration and a radiology education background. You will ensure high-quality imaging, manage PACS transfers, and perform daily QA.

Saturday coverage is required at our Great Neck site with potential for growth within a national MSO. The ideal candidate has at least two years of MRI experience, strong patient communication skills,

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved radiology program; ARRT registration.
• Valid X-Ray/MRI Technician license and ARRT.
• Minimum two years' MRI experience preferred; orthopedic/neurological experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and position for MRI procedures per protocol.
• Screen patients for ferromagnetic objects and contraindications.
• Select pulse sequences and record imaging parameters.
• Process and evaluate images, transmit to PACS, and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform daily QA on MRI equipment and monitor cryogen levels.
