Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
• New York State licensure as a radiologic technologist is required.
• ARRT MRI certification is required.
• Maintain ARRT certification with continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient clinical history with procedure and ensure documentation is available for licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patient for MRI procedure and provide instruction and education.
• Operate magnetic resonance imaging system and related equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and ethics in interactions with patients and staff.
• Recognize conditions essential for successful procedure completion.
• Provide exceptional patient care with safety and clear communication throughout exam.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and patient outcomes.
• Support clinic operations and additional assigned responsibilities.

• Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for the licensed practitioners' use
• Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education
• Select and operate magnetic resonance system and related equipment

• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the exam

Qualifications

• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:
• Minimum of graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
• Must unrestricted NYS licensure and ARRT certification
• Must have ARRT MRI certification
• Current with continuing education requirements to maintain ARRT certification
• Additional education in sectional human anatomy a plus
• Experience in medical imaging
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to travel to other OrthoNY locations if needed depending on staffing and needs. Reliable transportation is essential
