Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist licensed in Florida to provide magnetic resonance imaging services with compassionate care. You will obtain high-quality MR images, select appropriate technical factors, and administer contrast as required while ensuring patient modesty and safety.

As part of the radiology team, you will document clinical information in MEDITECH, communicate with the radiologist, and maintain equipment cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Valid ARRT registry
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Provide MRI services under radiologist supervision and obtain high-quality images.
• Select technical factors/techniques to accommodate patients and administer contrast as needed.
• Prepare, transfer and position patients ensuring modesty and safety.
• Document clinical information in MEDITECH and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain equipment and room cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination and ensure supplies.
• Accept on-call and call-back duties to provide optimal patient care
