Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a per diem Technologist Aide to support technologists across Cape locations including Hyannis, Harwich, Sandwich, Yarmouth & Falmouth. You will assist with room setup, patient prep, safety checks and data entry in a fast-paced medical setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and CPR certification. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to assist patients with mobility and lifting are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up the exam room and prepare necessary equipment.
• Assist technologist during patient procedures and positioning.
• Perform safety checks, document symptoms/history, and prep patient.
• Assist with data entry, paper work, and stocking exam rooms.
• Help patients feel comfortable and ensure proper teardown after exams.

Per diem needed in all Cape locations: Hyannis, Harwich, Sandwich, Yarmouth & FalmouthJob Description:What you will doFollow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.Assist Technologist in setting up the room.Set up proper coil for examEnsure there is clean linenMake available any items, which may assist the patients setup.Assist in the patient interview process.Safety check list.Symptoms and history.Determine if prior exams.Make sure patient is properly dressed for exam.Explain procedure to patient.Reassure the patient if anxious.Assist technologist in setting the patient for exam.Aid the patient getting on table.Ensure all safety devices are in place.Help makes the patient comfortable.Assist technologist upon completion of exam.Remove the patient from bore.Remove all safety equipment.Aid the patient off the table and assist to changing area.Assist in checking that all paperwork is complete.Assist getting all prior paper work.Assist getting all prior pertinent exams.Assist in checking that prior exams are on the appropriate workstation.Assist with Tech Data Entry.Assist with the cleaning and stocking of exam rooms.What you need:High School Diploma or equivalent.CPR certification required.Excellent interpersonal skills required.Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties. Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.Additional Job Description:The pay range for this position is $17/hr-$29/hr + benefits.
