Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and accurate data collection under supervision of licensed practitioners.

Applicants must hold ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB MR certification, complete a radiologic technology specialty program, and preferably possess a bachelor's degree. Knowledge of MRI safety and imaging protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB MR certification required.
• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety protocols to minimize risks.
• Assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures and perform prescribed MRI scans.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate full proficiency in routine and complex duties.
