Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in Silicon Valley is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and obtain diagnostic images for physicians. Our team values patient care and a family-like atmosphere focused on teamwork.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology Program, CRT licensure, and Basic Life Support certification. 1–3 years MRI experience is preferred; venipuncture certification is encouraged within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program required.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• Minimum 1–3 years MRI experience preferred.
• Venipuncture certification preferred within one year.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain images for physician diagnosis and treatment.
• Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures for various age groups.
• Perform procedures efficiently and per radiologic protocol.
• Position patients and assist as needed to ensure timely procedures.
• Maintain professional judgment and ethical demeanor during procedures.
• Perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
