Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and obtain diagnostic images for physicians. Our team emphasizes patient care, collaboration, and adherence to radiology protocols in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a radiology program graduate with CRT licensure, BCLS certification, and MRI experience. Candidates with venipuncture certification within one year are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program is required.
• Current state licensure as a CRT is required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
• 1-3 years MRI experience preferred.
• Venipuncture certification preferred within one year.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain images for physician diagnosis.
• Perform procedures to demonstrate sectional images for interpretations.
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in non-imaging procedures for all age groups.
• Perform procedures efficiently according to radiologic protocol.
• May need to lift patients onto/off exam table and position for procedures.
