Capital Health seeks an experienced MRI technologist to provide high-quality imaging services at our Rockford, IL campus. This on-site role requires 40 hours per week with on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage as needed.

You will operate MRI equipment, ensure accurate image transfer to PACS, and assist radiologists while maintaining strict patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program or MRI program with ARRT MRI or ARMRIT within one year of hire.
• Basic computer skills and effective verbal and written communication required.
• Verifiable hours on MRI machines; Siemens preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical MRI services per radiology standards and support students and technologists.
• Be available for on-call, holiday, and weekend work as required.
• Accurately send images to PACS and maintain image QC and patient identification.
• Perform venipuncture for intravenous contrast administration as trained.
• Apply MRI principles, anatomy, positioning, and safety for high quality exams.
• Assist physicians during studies and maintain infection control and safety.
• Deliver excellent patient care and customer service.
