Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a contract MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and support diagnostic imaging in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and precise imaging tailored to each case.

Required ARRT MRI certification, active state licensure, and at least 1 year of MRI experience. Expect collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff; HIPAA compliance is essential. Open for 60 days, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent credential required.
• Active state licensure to practice as an MRI Technologist
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience performing MRI procedures
• Proficient with MRI operation, safety protocols, and image quality assessment
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols tailored to each patient’s needs
• Maintain precise patient records, document procedures, and verify image quality prior to submission to radiologists
• Monitor equipment performance, assist with routine maintenance, and uphold safety standards at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver coordinated care
• Adhere to HIPAA and all hospital/clinic protocols regarding patient confidentiality
