Job summary

Advanced Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams in accordance with protocols, set up patients, and assist radiologists with procedures. You will ensure image quality, patient safety, and efficient workflow.

The role requires ARRT MR certification, Connecticut licensure, and at least two years of MRI experience; Siemens/GE systems experience is preferred. This is an on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification and Connecticut licensure required.
• Two years of clinical experience in all MRI procedure types.
• Siemens, GE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures as ordered with high quality and timeliness.
• Escorts patients to treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary.
• Completes paperwork to ensure timely delivery of MRI services.
• Explains MRI procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
• Conducts quality control and reports malfunctions to the site manager.
