Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures with high proficiency and patient care. You will operate MRI scanners, verify orders with Radiologists, and prep patients with clear explanations of the process.

Responsibilities include maintaining image quality, documenting in MAR, and following radiation safety protocols while supporting clinical teams in a busy MRI department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program; MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year.
• MRI registry eligible or ARMRIT program participation required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and maintain image quality.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and monitor during exams.
• Document contrast administration in MAR and maintain records.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in emergencies.
