Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and related equipment with high proficiency, following departmental protocols and safety standards.

You will verify orders with Radiology, prepare patients, document history, and ensure image quality while collaborating with Radiologists and nursing staff to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• MRI registry eligibility required within 1 year of hire.
• Active enrollment in MRI ARRT registry or ARMRIT program required.

Responsabilités

• Verify orders with radiologist before performing exam.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; identify with two identifiers.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMR for pertinent data.
• Conduct MRI scanning from start to completion and document results.
• Ensure safe administration of IV contrast per protocol; record details.
