Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) New Bed Tower Expansion project in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I. You will operate MRI scanners, prepare patients, and ensure safe imaging in accordance with departmental protocols.

The role requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility and CPR certification, with collaboration across radiology teams. The position emphasizes accurate image quality, order verification, and patient safety while supporting emergency and standard imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and associated equipment with proficiency.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and obtain clarifications.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures prior to imaging.
• Record contrast administration per protocol and MAR.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
