Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist in a busy hospital environment. Maintain magnet safety and a therapeutic diagnostic environment in accordance with standards; participate in department improvement activities.

Requires AMA-approved radiology tech education, ARRT MRI certification, MRT Texas licensure, and ARRT MRI certification by 12/31/2012.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certification.
• MRT Texas licensure.
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality MRI scans on all ages under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.
