Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform high-quality MRI scans under radiologist supervision. You will maintain a safe imaging environment, follow magnet safety guidelines, and participate in department quality improvement.

Requirements include ARRT MRI certification, Texas MRT license, AMA-approved radiology education, and BLS within 30 days of start. This PRN role supports our busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology
• ARRT certification
• MRT State of Texas license
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012

Responsibilities

• Performs superior/quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards and magnet safety guidelines
• Participates in departmental improvement activities

Skills

Basic Life Support (BLS)
