Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The position supports a 123-bed, Level III Trauma hospital and provides diagnostic imaging across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Expected duties include MR safety screening, contrast administration, image evaluation, and student education within the Siemens/GE MRI environment. PRN schedule with a minimum of four shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate or eligible for MR registry/certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification required within 18 months.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years' MR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Screen MR patients for safety before procedures.
• Assist radiologists with protocols and performance.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate MR images for quality and labeling.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow between MR sites.
