Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist in Baldwin Park, California. You will be responsible for producing high-quality cross-sectional images and ensuring patient safety during procedures. This role involves maintaining confidentiality, participating in education, and supporting team collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, ARRT(MR) certification, and BLS certification. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered, alongside a commitment to diversity in the workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• ARRT(MR) certification and State License, if applicable.
• BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; ACLS, where applicable.
• Ability to work at several locations as needed.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications.
• Produce high‑quality diagnostic images in accordance with company imaging protocols.
• Maintain levels of quality that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Train and orient new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants.
