Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce cross-sectional MRI images for medical interpretation and to support diagnostic procedures in a clinical setting.

You will maintain safety standards, document contrast administration, and collaborate with radiologists and care teams. The role involves operating MR equipment, ensuring timely image delivery, and upholding patient-centered care across multiple California locations while maintaining accurate records and compliance with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT(MR) certification and State License, if applicable.
• BLS or ACLS depending on location.
• Ability to work at several locations as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for safe patient care and pre-screening for MRI safety.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images per protocols.
• Administer and document contrast administration per policy and law.
• Interact with staff, patients, and families; maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Operate and troubleshoot EMR, PACS and DICOM workflows.
• Train new technologists as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
