Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, prioritize patient safety, and uphold professional communication in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, adjusting parameters, administering contrast safely, guiding patients, and collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement while remaining professional in all situations.
• Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, if applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Use MRI parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and sensitive health information.
• Safeguard medication in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain respect for company property, patient financial information, and professional boundaries.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
